Armed with two suitcases and a dream, Nishidha Kumaresan came to United States to pursue her MBA at Pittsburg State University, from India. After toiling for hours to make her dreams come true, she started working as an IT consultant providing Business and Systems Analysis to various Fortune 500 clients. But, growing up in an entrepreneurial family she wanted to be an achiever and in 2010 owing to her mother’s illness and increasing financial responsibilities, the entrepreneur in her decided to take the plunge and start Pioneer Technologies.
Pioneer Technologies provides consulting and IT services for delivering independent, practical, value-priced advice and services to their chosen market sectors. “We build customized solutions for customers based on their requirements and not provide out of the box solutions,” says Nishidha, the President & CEO of Pioneer Technologies. “This has helped us keep customers happy and meeting their requirements. Be it a one man task or a team to build solutions we are on it.”

Pioneer Technologies started with providing services in the area of business and systems analysis and soon after started with system administration, software development and quality assurance. Customer satisfaction, relationship building and retention along with employee satisfaction establish a highly differentiated position for the company. Employees with customer interface are responsible for executing day-to-day client-facing communication so they link the business and customer. “If that breaks down, the business is destroyed. Our employees become a trusted member of the customer’s team, ensuring that the product is delivered on time and works as it is supposed to, while resolving any issues quickly and accurately,” adds Nishidha.
The company provides customized solutions to customers from various industries—be it a complete end to end solution or just enhancements to existing systems, Pioneer Technologies take up the job and meet their needs. “When we take up a job the goal is leave the customer with a better system. With this goal in mind our engineers work towards attaining it. We do not enforce any specific methodology or out of box solutions to our customers,” explains Nishidha. That’s the reason the company enforce a learning culture so their engineers are well informed of the emerging technology trends in the market.
In an instance, one of their customers, a large retailer launched their own website worth millions of dollars which was previously driven by a third party vendor. With the launch of the website, there was a need for business operations to be on their top of their game to ensure that the right products, price and promotions are available in the website every second. Pioneer Technologies’ team was at the heart of it as they had rigorous knowledge acquisition. For example, on Thanksgiving Day the team was making sure all of the information on the website was accurate, no downtime issues with no negative impact on the revenue of the customer. And it was done successfully with no errors and exceeded the expectations of the customer as no negative experience was reported from the end customers as well as no lost revenue.
For Nishidha, these customer successes are her achievements and she wants to continue building a great company by meeting customer expectations with exceptional deliverables, mentoring and coaching her team and giving back to the community. “We are now concentrating towards building products and services in the arena of Artificial Intelligence, cyber security, big data and chaos engineering,” says Nishidha. “I want to continue taking Pioneer Technologies to new heights through hard work and determination, for the days to come.”
